Dunfermline boss Stevie Crawford insists he is still on the hunt for new signings – but admits recruitment plans are on hold for now.
The Pars were busy in the transfer market earlier in the summer, snapping up Steven Whittaker, Owain Fon Williams, Declan McManus, Dom Thomas, Paul Watson, Iain Wilson and Kevin O’Hara.
Crawford has also been linked with a loan move for Hibs midfielder Fraser Murray.
But with the Fifers trying to settle into their new training base at Alloa Athletic’s Indodrill Stadium and also coping with new Covid-19 protocols, the East End Park boss is happy to work with his current squad for the time being.
He said: “We will still look to add but we did a lot of our work and brought in players quite early in the summer.
“We have had to try and give ourselves the best possible opportunity to get back to training in a safe, secure environment.
“Alloa have been great and this partnership between the clubs with (chairmen) Ross McArthur and Mike Mulraney.
“They have been working hard to make sure that both clubs can get back to a secure training facility.
“We do not take our eye off the ball in terms of adding to and strengthening the squad, but there is nothing more happening as of yet on that front.”
