Raith are looking to appoint a full-time Head of Youth Development.
In an ambitious move, this will be the first time Rovers have someone occupying this position with the post being partly funded by the Player Development Fund that the club launched earlier this month.
Previously, the role was covered by Laurie Ellis who combined his work as first-team coach with overseeing the youth set-up.
However, Raith now see the post as being so important to the club’s future, they have decided to make it a full-time position.
Rovers are hoping the appointment will reap benefits with a conveyor belt of young talent moving up into the first-team.
The successful candidate will need to possess a UEFA Elite Youth ‘A’ Licence and will work closely with the new management team of boss Gary Locke and his assistant Darren Jackson at the club’s Glenrothes training base and at Stark’s Park.
Full details for applicants can be found on the club website.
