Josh Falkingham has expressed his disappointment at the way his time at Dunfermline ended.
The fans’ favourite was one of the players who left the club on Tuesday after four years with the Pars.
He was an integral part of the League One title-winning side and his departure was a surprise to many.
The former Leeds United, St Johnstone and Arbroath midfielder made over 150 appearances for the Pars after joining the club in 2012.
Now though, he has admitted on social media that he was unhappy with the way his departure was handled.
Falkingham posted: “Gutted to be leaving @officialdafc and really disappointed with how my situation played out in the end . . .
“Would like to wish all the boys and the club all the best for the future. Been a pleasure working with some great people in the last four years.
“Finally a massive thank you to the fans who have been unbelievable with me and stuck by us especially through the bad times.”
Dunfermline have also formally confirmed the departures of Scott Robinson, Craig Reid, Ryan Wallace, Shaun Rooney, who has joined York City, and Shaun Byrne, who has signed for Livingston.
