Montrose have signed keeper Alan Fleming from Angus neighbours Arbroath on a one-year deal.
Links Park boss Paul Hegarty had previously admitted to Courier Sport that filling the goalie position was a priority for him with both of last season's loanees St Johnstone’s Jordan Millar and Falkirk’s Alex Tokarczyk returning to their parent clubs in April.
Now, the manager has added 32-year-old Fleming to his roster with the keeper meeting his new team-mates at the weekend as pre-season training began.
Fleming's arrival brings the number of players signed for the forthcoming campaign to 15.
Meanwhile, Montrose have also confirmed a second pre-season friendly against Highland League side Deveronvale at Links Park on Friday, July 1 with a 7:45pm kick-off.
