Courier Sport understands that former Dundee United and Dunfermline midfielder Craig Easton is set to be appointed as Raith Rovers’ new full-time Head of Youth Development.
This is the first time Rovers will have someone occupying this position with the post being partly funded by the Player Development Fund that the club launched earlier this month.
Previously, the role was covered by Laurie Ellis who combined his work as first-team coach with overseeing the youth set-up.
However, Raith have decided to make it a full-time position with 37-year-old Easton becoming the successful applicant.
