Gary Locke will take charge of his first game as Raith Rovers boss against Forfar at Station Park tonight with the 41-year-old still looking to bolster his squad.
The Stark’s Park manager is primarily on the hunt for striking reinforcements.
However, Locke has also revealed that he has offered training facilities to former Rangers winger David Templeton, who he knows from their time together at Hearts.
Locke said: “Temps is somebody I know really well. He’s got a knee problem at the minute, so he’s not fit.
“I’ll just wait and see. He’s had a rough time of it since he went to Rangers. He’s been in and out the team, but he has had an injury and he’s still got it.
“There’s no point in bringing him in at the moment, because he can’t play, but once he’s fit, we’ll see. He might have other options but I’ll give him training facilities and we’ll see how we get on.
“He’s probably another four or five weeks away from training, because he’s got this knee problem that he’s trying to get to the bottom of at the minute.
“But, once he’s fit, I’m pretty sure he’ll have plenty options, but the option is certainly there for him to train with us.”
The 1984 Lounge at Station Park will be open from 6.30pm until kick-off at 7.45pm.
