East Fife head to Clackmannanshire today to face an Alloa side that are out to create a new club record of 10 consecutive wins.
The Wasps have a 100% record so far this season, including wins against top flight sides Ross County and Inverness Caledonian Thistle, however Bayview manager Gary Naysmith is still confident his side can progress in the Irn-Bru Cup.
He said: “We were at Alloa just two weeks ago and lost 2-1 however there was little between the sides on the day.
“They are flying just now and getting that 10th win in a row would be a terrific achievement but I do not want that to be reached against us.
“We are a bit short of bodies overall but we are ready to go there with a strong starting 11 and win.”
Midweek recruit from Hibs, Jamie Insall, is set for a debut.
Naysmith explained: “Jamie will be involved as he is a player that we know well and he knows what we are all about as well.”
Ross Brown, Chris Duggan and Kevin Smith are all injured.
