Brechin’s first-choice keeper Graeme Smith should be fit for this weekend’s League 1 clash with Livingston despite having to come off injured on Saturday.
The goalie had to be substituted just 33 minutes into the game against Airdrie after being hurt in a collision following a corner.
He was replaced by Paddy O’Neil with the Angus outfit taking all three points to propel them to the top of the league table.
However, Brechin boss Darren Dods is hopeful Smith will be available to face Livi, who are sitting just one point behind his side.
The Glebe gaffer said: “Graeme is still a bit sore but it was just a knock.
“He should be OK for what will be another big game for us this weekend.”
