Raith Rovers boss Gary Locke is sweating over the fitness of Jason Thomson ahead of Saturday’s clash with Dumbarton at Stark’s Park. The influential club captain missed the weekend defeat at Queen of the South after picking up a knee injury during training on Friday. He was sent for a scan yesterday with Locke now anxiously waiting for the results. The manager said: “You can see when Jason is missing, it is a big blow for us. “We are a wee bit short in those areas and he is certainly a big influence on the team.”
