East Fife manager Gary Naysmith has admired how Livingston have turned the expectation of a title challenge into reality.
But he is determined to knock them off their perch in Methil today.
Naysmith said: “You have to give their manager David Hopkin and his squad a lot of credit for how well they have done so far this season.
“They are expected to be challenging for the title, because they are a full time club, but there is big difference from being expected to do something and actually doing it.
“It will be a tough game for us.”
He added: “They will give us problems but we are usually strong at home and we have players that can cause them problems.
“We secured a hard earned point at Airdrie with my only disappointment being the amount of possession we allowed them to have at the start of the second half.
“It was a fair result but it is a game that we could have won.”
Jonathan Page is expected to be passed fit, however Scott Robinson will miss out again due to a groin injury and Chris Duggan isn’t yet near to a return.
