Cowdenbeath manager Liam Fox believes that their match with Stirling Albion at Central Park has been a difficult one to prepare for following the dismissal of Forthbank manager Stuart McLaren.
Fox explained: “I am looking forward to being at home against Stirling however they will be a bit of a surprise package now after parting company with Stuart.
“It is always disappointing to see a manager leave and I am sure like in all dressing rooms there will some players disappointed that he has gone and others that will feel that they will now get more of a chance.
“However we cannot dive too deeply into what we think Stirling will do. We need to concentrate on what we can do and what we are good at to get the win.”
The Blue Brazil secured a goalless draw at Arbroath last weekend with Fox knowing what is required to get three points today.
He added: “We got everything that we asked for at Gayfield apart from the win. Our application and attitude against a good side when the wind was blowing strongly was good. All that was missing from our game was a goal but I am honest enough to admit that their manager Dick Campbell could say the exact same.”
Kenny Adamson is the only absentee.
