Forfar may have eclipsed neighbours Arbroath with their 100% League Two record so far but Gayfield boss Dick Campbell insisted he “wouldn’t swap” his squad for anyone’s in the division.
Campbell believes his side did everything right except score in last weekend’s 0-0 draw with Cowdenbeath.
And, as he prepares to face bottom of the table Edinburgh City away this afternoon, the veteran manager believes Arbroath have put down solid foundations for a long campaign.
“I’ve never know anything to be won before Christmas,” he said.
“There’s no panic here. We’re doing well enough. We’re playing really well.
“I wouldn’t swap my squad for anyone else’s in the league.”
Campbell has no injuries to worry about but is likely to make “a couple of changes”.
