Courier columnist Rab Douglas has signed for Arbroath. The 44-year-old former Dundee, Celtic and Scotland goalkeeper is teaming up again with Gayfield manager Dick Campbell, his former gaffer at Forfar. Douglas quit the Loons last December after Campbell parted company with the Station Park side. He could be given a quick-fire debut for the Lichties in their Scottish Cup second round tie at home to Stirling University tomorrow afternoon. A club statement said: “Arbroath are happy to announce the signing of highly-experienced former Scotland and Celtic goalkeeper Robert Douglas. “Rab brings a wealth of experience and knows the Arbroath management team very well and we hope he is given a very warm welcome to Gayfield.”
