Cowdenbeath manager Liam Fox wants his side to cast aside a six-game run without a win, and start with confidence against Berwick Rangers at Shielfield today.
The Blue Brazil went down 3-1 at Elgin last weekend with the Moray men scoring the opening goal to turn the game in their favour.
Fox said: “We lost our way a bit when we went behind and we lost another goal before half-time. However the players eventually got back on track and the second half was a lot better.
“We kept on going and pulled a goal back however that does not mask the fact that again individual errors cost us goals. That has happened a few times but we cannot feel sorry for ourselves and we have to keep believing that we can turn the corner.
“We have to go to Berwick and be positive. We will look to start where we left off against Elgin and that was on the front foot.
“I want the players to go out at Shielfield and take the game by the scruff of the neck.”
Fox added: “We have a good squad here and it is a squad that I still believe in. We are on a disappointing run but we are not that far off turning things around. If we can get ahead, and stay ahead, we will grow in confidence and results will improve.”
Kenny Adamson and Gary Glen are out but Dean Brett could return.
