Robbie Neilson has left Hearts – or at least a man in a Robbie Neilson mask has.
With the Jam Tarts manager – soon to be ex-Jam Tarts manager – keen to avoid waiting reporters at the club’s Riccarton training base, he took a novel approach to giving them the slip.
While the man himself was presumably heading off to Milton Keynes to dot the is and cross the ts on his move south to the MK Dons, the media were left gobsmacked by the sight of a man in a mask getting into a waiting car.
Whether he’s a contender to replace the real Neilson at Tynecastle remains to be seen.
