Cowdenbeath have used their free time productively, according to manager Liam Fox
Despite not playing last weekend, the Central Park boss kept his squad active in preparation for the visit of Clyde this afternoon.
he said: “We managed to get an extra couple of training sessions in last weekend and hopefully we will see the benefit of that against Clyde.
“There could have been a feeling disappointment lingering after the 1-1 draw with Edinburgh City a fortnight ago as we lost the lead in the final 10 minutes, however everything has been upbeat.
“Overall we have taken five points from the last nine and that shows progress. Confidence is rising and we will look to keep taking steps forward by doing well against Clyde, however I know that it will not be easy.”
Fox added: “I expect them to challenge for the title as they have that experience on board but we will go out looking to win, knowing that we will have to play well to do that.
“Every game in this league is winnable if you play well and loseable if you do not perform at your best.”
Kenny Adamson remains out with a back injury, with Brian Ross, Chris Turner and Gary Glen all facing fitness tests.
