East Fife manager Barry Smith is looking for the third consecutive win of his short time in charge of the Bayview side when leaders Livingston visit today.
The former Dundee, Alloa and Aldershot manager expects the visitors to be a more familiar looking outfit after suffering a 2-1 home defeat to Queen’s Park last weekend.
Smith said: “We had a spy at their game last Saturday and we have picked up that they had changed things about a bit both in terms of style and personnel.
“After losing that game I would expect them to be on much more usual lines against us.”
The East Fife players will be asked to go about their business in the manner that has brought wins over Peterhead and Stenhousemuir, lifting them up to sixth place in the table.
He said: “The players have shown a tremendous attitude since I came in. All I can ask them to do is to keep delivering in that manner and to keep passing the ball in the way they have been as well.
“Livingston will be tough opponents but it is a game that we can win.”
Scott Mercer could miss out after suffering a concussion however the Fifers squad has been bolstered by the loan signing of Partick Thistle left-back James Penrice. Kevin Smith and Chris Duggan could return.
