Cowdenbeath boss puts Dave Mackay friendship to one side

Cowdenbeath manager Liam Fox will push friendship to the side this afternoon in a bid to climb off the bottom of League Two.
The Blue Brazil manager is friendly with Stirling Albion boss Dave Mackay from their playing days together at Livingston, however for 90 minutes Fox is determined that his side give Stirling a disappointing end to 2016.
Fox said: “Dave and I go back a long way and he is one of my best friends in the game. I was delighted for him when he got the Stirling job but I hope he has a miserable time of things in this game.
“We will be enemies tomorrow afternoon and bearing in mind we are both passionate guys we will be doing well not to argue with each other.”
The Central Park side travel to Forthbank on the back of a three-game losing run, however a win could see them move up to seventh.
Fox added: “It is a really tight league and everyone at the club is determined that we get the win that would ensure that we do not finish 2016 in bottom position.”
Kenny Adamson is the only absentee due to a long term back problem.
