Cowdenbeath manager Liam Fox is looking for his players to turn round their disappointing recent home form.
The Blue Brazil have lost their last three matches on their own turf and Fox is determined that run will end against Edinburgh City this afternoon, and that his team climb off the foot of the League Two table.
The Fifers boss said: “We could really do with a level of consistency in terms of how we play and the results that we pick up.
“We went to Stirling a fortnight and played really well to pick up a good win but last weekend against Berwick at home we lost a game where we did not reach the standards we had reached the week before.
“We now face an Edinburgh City side who will give nothing away so we have to play at the level we know we can to get the three points at home.”
Fox added: “No-one likes being at the bottom but at the moment in our half of the table anybody can beat anybody.
“You can go from thinking that you are edging into the play-off race for promotion to being bottom of the league in just one game.
“It is crazy and hopefully we can be the side that strings together a decent run that pulls us away from the sides around us.”
Midfielder Liam Henderson has been added on loan from Falkirk with Fox saying: “Liam is a player that I know well as he was in the Hearts under-20 squad that I looked after.
“He is a good player with a great attitude and I am sure that he will do well here.
“I am still looking to add some more bodies and give us an element of freshness for the second half of the season but it might be next week until they are here.”
Fraser Mullen returns from suspension to leave Kenny Adamson as the only absentee from Fox’s squad.
