Darren Dods is hoping his Brechin City team will regain their upward momentum now that the treatment room is starting to clear.
It has been no surprise that the correlation between the Glebe Park side’s results and their injury list has been an obvious one in recent weeks, with seven out of nine games lost.
But Dods can at last see light at the end of the tunnel.
“Euan Smith is out for the season obviously,” he said. “But we’ve got Chris O’Neil back now.
“Andy Jackson and James Dale have both trained. It’s a bit too early for them to start but they’ll be on the bench at Livingston tomorrow.
“Darren McCormack is back too. It was good to have 15 or 16 at training the other night.
“It’s been tough for us but hopefully we’ve had our blip and we can get a clear run without injuries.
“We’re only two points off second place and there’s no reason why we can’t get back to the sort of form we enjoyed in the first few months of the season.”
Today’s opponents have opened up a nine-point gap at the top of the league, and they have also beaten Brechin twice already this season.
“They’ve got a strong squad,” said Dods. “And they’ve added four players this month.
“But we’ve had some good results away from home this season – wins at tough venues like Alloa, Stranraer and Peterhead.
“We’ll have to be at the top of our game but if we play like we know we can then we can get another good result.”
Alan Trouten is suspended.
