Brechin City are neither far away from the promotion play-offs nor safe from the relegation ones.
There is a three-point gap in both directions.
A seven-game winless run would suggest that their momentum is downward but manager Darren Dods knows that a win against Queen’s Park at Glebe Park this evening would change that and have Brechin fans looking up again.
Dods said: “After a good first half of the season things are not breaking for us at the moment.
“However we have the experience in the squad to kick-start our season and get us going up the way again.
“Home form got us up the table last season after a disappointing run and it will be good to get winning again at home in this campaign.
“We have the chance to go above Queen’s in the table however it will not be easy as they are a resilient side who are always in games until the last minute.
“You can think that you are on top of them and then bang they hit you on the break. When that happens they are even tougher to break down.”
Alan Trouten misses out through suspension but there are no fresh injury concerns.
