Dick Campbell may have to shuffle his Arbroath team once more this weekend when they welcome Ayr United to Gayfield.
The Lichties have struggled for form this season, partly down to a combination of suspension and injuries.
That has meant a lack of consistency in the team with Campbell left unable to field the same starting XI for two games in a row.
The side may have to do without three key men once more when Lee Bullen’s Honest Men come to town.
“I’ve got a few injuries; Tam O’Brien, Dale Hilson and Scott Stewart are all struggling for Saturday,” Campbell told Courier Sport.
“I’m struggling to get all of my team together week-in, week-out.
“Last year, everything fell in to place. I’ve not played the same team twice this season.
“There are all sorts of different reasons but what Saturday did show was the fighting qualities we like to show.
“This weekend will be another busy day and I’m looking forward to playing at home again.
“I’m very confident we’ll put a strong side out on Saturday.”
‘Formidable’ Ayr
Ayr went top of the Championship again during the week after a resounding win over fellow high-flyers Partick.
Despite their own confidence-boosting win last weekend, Campbell says his side will still have their work cut out on Saturday.
Fellow bottom three sides Cove and Hamilton also face off tomorrow, making a win at Gayfield even more important.
Campbell, however is only focused on the task in hand.
“All you get is three points for a win,” he said.
“I was at Ayr on Tuesday (against Partick) and they were formidable. They were very comfortable and won with a bit in hand.
“I don’t take anything for granted.
“We have got to just hang in there.
“There are one or two things happening but we need to just settle and knuckle down at what we are good at and that is playing our own game.”
