Raith Rovers have slashed admission prices to just £5 for what the club describes as “one of our most important matches in many years”.
The Kirkcaldy side play Ayr at Stark’s Park on Saturday knowing they have to win and hope champions Hibs do them a favour against St Mirren at Easter Road.
Otherwise, John Hughes’ side, who lost 5-0 against the Buddies last weekend, will face a relegation play-off to retain their Championship status.
The club are offering cut-price admission and have issued a rallying call to their fans, saying: “Manager John Hughes and his players really need your support, now more than ever after what has been a difficult campaign, so please come along and help make a great atmosphere with your loud vocal backing.
“The board of directors has agreed to slash admission prices for Saturday, and we hope that a bumper crowd will turn up to back the boys.
“This Saturday everyone can get in for just £5. Adults can buy tickets for accompanied children under-16 from the ticket office for only £2.”
