Forfar boss Gary Bollan in the running for Raith Rovers job
ByReporter
Gary Bollan is understood to be a candidate for the vacant Raith Rovers manager’s job.
The Kirkcaldy club, who will meet Bollan’s current side Forfar in League One next season, are seeking to replace John Hughes following their play-off semi-final defeat from Brechin City earlier this month.
Bollan led Forfar up through the play-offs after narrowly missing out on automatic promotion.
He previously guided Livingston to two promotions during a three-year spell in West Lothian.
The 44-year-old, who was also in charge of Airdrie, has been at Station Park for nearly 18 months and his name has been discussed by the Stark’s Park board, who are drawing up a shortlist of candidates to be interviewed this week.
