Forfar end their Betfred Cup games with a visit from Inverness Caledonian Thistle and manager Gary Bollan is looking for his side to move on quickly from their heavy midweek to Falkirk.
Bollan is keen to build on the positives that he saw against the Bairns, despite the 4-0 result.
He said: “Falkirk are a really good side who are playing a lot of good football just now.
“They are showing the signs of being together as a squad for a couple of years whereas everyone else has gone through a period of change over the summer.
“The goals we lost were all avoidable but I have no complaints about losing although there are things we can take from the game to build on.”
Bollan added: “We did stick at things well and despite being 3-0 down at half-time we went out trying to make a game of it in the second half.
“We created chances but failed to take them and it would have been good to have scored and made the result look less harsh.
“Inverness have had a much lower key campaign than Falkirk however they will still be very tough opposition. John Robertson will have them fired up to finish second in the group. They are a new-look side who will want a good result behind them before starting their league campaign.
“For us it is a case of moving on from Falkirk and looking to end things on a high.”
Bollan lists the same squad, with Grant Adam, Murray Mackintosh and Michael Kennedy still out.
Bollan said: “We are still working on getting new faces in, however nothing will happen before we face Inverness.”
