East Fife boss Darren Young expected to make changes

East Fife manager Darren Young will freshen up his side to face Peterhead at New Bayview despite a 1-0 win over Alloa at the weekend as he does not want to overuse certain players due to injuries.
The Fifers will again be without Jonathan Page, Chris Kane, Mark Lamont and Kevin Smith due to injury for their Irn-Bru Cup clash.
Young said: “It was terrific to win at the weekend and it has given everyone a lift before facing Peterhead.
“I will make some changes as we have had a tough schedule with a small pool of players which has been made smaller due to the injuries we have been carrying since the start of the season.
“We played Peterhead last month and they won 1-0 but all that was between the teams was a short pass back.”
Peterhead manager Jim McInally will also make changes, however his will be enforced as centre-backs David McCracken, Mason Robertson and Scott Ross are all struggling with knocks picked up in Saturday’s 3-0 win over Elgin.
