East Fife boss Darren Young ready for attack-minded Arbroath

East Fife head to Gayfield sure of one thing – Arbroath will go on the attack.
And manager Darren Young hopes that will play into their hands.
He explained: “Arbroath can play a few different formations but the one thing they always do is attack you. They have a strong squad and great options up front so we need to be on our toes throughout.
“I am glad about that as it gives us a chance to attack them as well.
“My biggest hope however is that we get a game of football played that is not dictated by the win at Gayfield as both sides like to pass the ball.”
The Fifers are looking for their second League One success, with Young saying: “Last Saturday’s win over Alloa got us up and running in the league but it was disappointing not to follow that up in the Irn-Bru Cup in midweek. We lost 2-0 to Peterhead and we have to hold our hands up and say that there were some self-inflicted wounds.
“However there were positives as some players got some much needed game time and after making five changes I know the strength in depth that we have now.”
The injured Jonathan Page, Chris Kane and Kevin Smith remain out for the Fifers.
