East Fife manager Darren Young has been left cursing his luck after the injury problems that plagued his side at the start of the season came to the fore again.
The Bayview side head to Forfar this afternoon with up to six players missing due to knocks and Kyle Wilkie also remaining sidelined through suspension.
Pat Slattery and Mark Docherty are major doubts and they could join Scott Linton, Craig Watson, Chris Kane and Greg Hurst in missing out.
Young said: “It is a frustrating time as there is great potential in our squad however we are continually being hampered by injuries. We have shown what we can do when we have everyone available however we have only had that a couple of times this season.”
Young is also wary of meeting a Station Park side who are beginning to adjust to life in League One under the guidance of Jim Weir.
He explained: “We are now facing Forfar who will have taken a huge boost from scoring four goals at Albion Rovers last weekend, winning the game and coming off bottom spot in the table. Jim has gone in there and started to turn things around.
“It is a game where I would strongly fancy our chances if we had everyone available but unfortunately we could be seven bodies down which makes it more difficult.”
He added: “We might be low in numbers however we will go to Forfar and look to win.”
