Brechin City will look to build on two solid performances in league and cup when they travel to Inverness tonight.
The Angus men earned a point and heaps of praise for drawing 1-1 with Dundee United at Glebe Park on Saturday to build on their Scottish Cup success over Buckie Thistle the previous weekend.
With life in the Championship having proved so challenging for City, they are entitled to take confidence from those two results.
Manager Darren Dods is now looking for them to carry on the good work when they meet ICT in a Highland capital in a rearranged league match.
Dods said: “We perhaps stood off United a bit too much in the first half but we improved in the second and could have won the game in the end.
“That says a lot about my players’ attitude and workrate.
“Having gotten a victory up at Buckie we were looking to build on that against United and we definitely did so.
“Now I would like to carry our second-half form from Saturday through to this match.
“I feel we are getting closer to that first league win and it would be great if it could come against Inverness, although it will be a tough game up there against a big, strong side.
“The pitch might also be heavy and the weather conditions not that great so we will have to battle.”
Brechin have no fresh injury worries and will be along similar lines to the team that started against the Tangerines.
