Arbroath could be just a few games from securing their play-off place.
And the sooner they can do it, the better, as far as manager Dick Campbell is concerned.
The Red Lichties have got a seven-point gap on fifth-placed East Fife and also have a game in hand.
It’s a situation most sides in the league would love to be in.
“We’re only three or four games away from doing it,” said Campbell ahead of today’s clash with Albion Rovers.
“Win the next four and we’re guaranteed, I think, and that’s what we’ll be looking to do.”
Campbell believes their league position probably should have been even healthier after their midweek game against league leaders Ayr United.
“When you’re 1-0 up after 87 minutes, it’s always a sore one to take when you end up drawing,” he said.
“I’ll be making a few changes for this one.
“Swankie, Denholm, Yule and Linn are all doubts.
“Two games in a week have maybe taken their toll so we’ll be using our squad.
“Albion Rovers need the win for their own reasons but we don’t go into games worrying about the opposition. It’s up to us to make sure we put in a good performance.”
