Dunfermline are set to sign departing Dundee United defender Mark Durnan, Courier Sport can reveal.
The 25-year-old wasn’t offered fresh terms by the Tangerines after their promotion bid died at Livingston and there has been interest from other Championship clubs.
The Pars are leading the race, though, and a deal could be announced shortly.
Durnan has taken to social media to say his farewells to United fans.
He said: “Thank you and all the best to @dundeeunitedfc. It has been a rollercoaster three years but I’ve loved being at the club and met amazing people on and off the park.
“Wish things had turned out but you don’t always get what you want.
“Good luck for the future, was a pleasure being at the club.”
