Brechin City’s two comeback men will get the chance to build up their match fitness in the IRN-BRU Cup tonight. Andy Jackson and Ryan McGeever are both expected to feature at Peterhead after coming through Saturday’s win against East Fife unscathed. Manager Darren Dods said: “Ryan played the whole 90. “He took a whack on the ankle which was operated on, and hasn’t had a problem, so that will give him confidence that the surgery has worked. “Jacko played 70 minutes. He showed some nice touches and caused the East Fife defence problems. “They’ll both be in the squad again.” Dods added: “It was great to get the win in the league at last. It’s been a long wait and six minutes of injury time didn’t help! “The boys will take confidence from that and hopefully we can build on it.” Dougie Hill and Callum Tapping are suspended, while Paul McLean, Jordan Tapping and Jordan Sinclair are injured.
