Arbroath boss Dick Campbell admits he has a big selection headache for this afternoon’s derby with Forfar following last week’s convincing Irn-Bru Cup win over Annan.
The Gayfield gaffer made a whole host of changes from the team that drew with Brechin a fortnight ago.
He was looking for players to give him food for thought and they certainly did that, winning 3-0 thanks to goals from Bobby Linn, Danny Denholm and Michael McKenna.
Now, Campbell has to weigh up whether to make further changes for the game at Gayfield today as Arbroath look to cement their position at the top of the League 1 table.
Campbell said: “I have a big problem but it is a good one to have as we have everybody available for the Forfar game.
“Jason Thomson needed stitches in his face after the Brechin match two weeks ago and had to miss the Annan cup tie last Saturday.

“However, he has now had the stitches out and is raring to go again while Callum Smith who was cup-tied is also available.
“I made a lot of changes for the cup game with Darren Hill coming in between the sticks and others such as David Gold, Ryan McCord, Kane Hester, Finn Graham and Danny Denholm all getting game time.”
Campbell added: “They have given me a lot to think about for the Forfar derby.
“I have told them it is not my problem they aren’t in the team at the moment – it is their problem and they have to do something about it when they get the chance.
“They have to earn the right and they have given me some food for thought for another important league match with derby bragging rights also up for grabs.
“I am starting to sound like a broken record but we have started well in the league, we are unbeaten and I want that to continue.”
