Raith Rovers have announced that striker Kevin Nisbet has signed a contract extension which will keep him at Stark’s Park until at least May 31, 2020.
The 21-year-old joined the Kirkcaldy side at the start of this season after being released by Partick Thistle.
Nisbet has been a big hit for Raith and has scored 18 goals so far with the latest coming on Saturday in the win over Queen’s Park in the Scottish Cup.
The player said: “I’m very happy to have extended my contract for another year.
“We’ve been in talks for a while now and it’s good to finally get it done. I’m enjoying my football this season, and it’s great being able to convert the chances created by my team-mates into goals.”
