Montrose have been drawn at home to Angus rivals Forfar in the second round of the renamed Tunnock’s Caramel Wafer Challenge Cup.
The Gable Endies will host the Loons on the weekend of August 13-14, while East Fife will welcome Stirling Albion – all in the North section of the competition.
In the first round, the St Johnstone Colts team will face Cove Rangers the previous weekend.
If the young Saints get through that tie, they will then meet the winners of Brora Rangers v Aberdeen Colts.
Cowdenbeath are away to either Albion Rovers or Hearts Colts, Raith Rovers will travel to the home of Fraserburgh or Ross County Colts, while Brechin will play the winners of Hibs Colts v Elgin City at Glebe Park.
In the South section, Kelty Hearts will host Kilmarnock Colts in their first round clash and then have a possible trip to Annan the following weekend.
The Tunnock’s sponsorship deal replaces the previous backing from Irn-Bru and former Dundee United, Dundee and Scotland striker Billy Dodds was at the biscuit company’s Uddingston’s headquarters to make the draw.
