Thousands of fans have arrived at Tannadice for the return of the Dundee derby.
Dundee FC and Dundee United are meeting two years on from the last clash between the two city rivals.
The match is a sell-out and hopes are high for both sets of fans.
The match kicked off at 7.45pm with fans from both sides in full voice on arrival.
United took the early lead in the game thanks to a goal from Calum Butcher, however Dundee levelled the score with a goal from Kane Hemmings.
Louis Appere made it 2-1 to the Tangerines in the 33rd minute. A pen from Lawrence Shankland increased the scoreline further, followed shortly after with a header from Butcher making it 4-1.
The game ended in a 6-2 victory for Dundee United.

The derby has returned as a result of Dundee’s relegation to the Championship, where United have been playing their football since 2017.
