Ross Callachan has issued a message of defiance after confirming that he has fractured his fibula. The Dundee midfielder, who is on loan from St Johnstone, suffered the terrible injury during the Dark Blues’ 2-0 win over Partick Thistle at Dens. He was carried from the pitch on a stretcher and everyone at the club feared the worst. A broken bone has now been confirmed by the player himself but he said he will come back “stronger and better.” In a social media post, Callachan wrote: “Absolutely devastated after fracturing my fibula in today’s game. “Boys were brilliant and a great win! “Appreciate all the positive messages of support. “I will be back stronger and better.”
