Paul Hartley is looking forward to his Dundee side continuing their build-up to the new season against his old club Alloa tonight. Two promotions at Recreation Park caught the eye of the Dens Park owners and Hartley looks back on his time there with affection. “I am looking forward to the game especially as they have a nice new pitch for us to play on,” he said. “I was there for a few years and had good times but this is all about getting the players game time and trying out new formations and patterns. “It will be our third game within a week which the players enjoy at this stage of the season. “We had a closed-doors game with Morton and then the friendly at Dumbarton on Tuesday night and the players have looked good in both games.” New loan signing from Celtic, Michael Duffy, could feature. Alloa drew with Dunfermline on Wednesday night and now have former St Mirren midfielder Jim Goodwin in their side.
