Boss Jim McIntyre could have more selection options available when his team face champions Celtic at Dens Park on Wednesday.
However, he’ll still have at least a couple of men out injured.
Full-back Nathan Ralph and centre-half Genseric Kusunga were not ready to face Hearts on Tuesday evening.
Both, though, have been back in training this week and that could put them in contention for a place against the Hoops next midweek.
Midfielder Martin Woods, who’s been training at Dens this week, could also be handed a contract in time for involvement in the next outing.
However, the likes of Paul McGowan and Josh Meekings are expected to remain on the sidelines as they continue their battles to get back fit after lengthy absences.
The club are expected to announce McIntyre’s assistant later today.
