While it appears business has been completed at Dundee with the arrival of Kenny Miller and the departure of Craig Wighton, rumours of late activity persist.
There have been suggestions a final attempt to get Ayr’s Lawrence Shankland, though Miller being fixed up makes that look unlikely.
And midfielder Glen Kamara has been watched by Rangers recently, but any moves for him may not be made until the January window.
There has been talk of former club captain Darren O’Dea, who has not featured at first-team level this season, also moving on.
The 31-year-old is in the final year of a three-year contract and, at this stage of his career, wants regular first-team football.
While a number of clubs have been showing an interest in the former Celtic man, there have been no firm moves for him.
Likewise, despite almost constant speculation over Steven Caulker, he appears to be going nowhere at the moment.
Meanwhile, Celtic youngster Calvin Miller continues to be linked with a loan move.
