Former Dundee striker A-Jay Leitch-Smith has joined Morecambe on a one-year contract.
The Englishman scored seven goals in 32 appearances for the Dark Blues last term after joining up on loan from Shrewsbury.
He returned to his parent club at the end of last season, but now he’s made a permanent switch to the League Two side in Lancashire.
“A-Jay’s a player that I’ve always been impressed with. I’ve tried to sign him a couple of years ago and I’m sure he’ll do well for us,” said Shrimps boss Jim Bentley
“Our main priority at the moment is signing a centre back but with Adam Campbell going out on loan it frees up a slot in the squad for a forward to come in.
“A-Jay is very experienced, he’s played at different levels and is a good all round footballer.
And Leitch-Smith is targeting more goals than he got in the Scottish Premiership.
“Hopefully I can come in and get a few goals for the team and help us climb the table,” he said.
