Tele sport’s Barry Smith is set to return to football management with East Fife.
The former Dundee boss should be confirmed as successor to Gary Naysmith at the Methil outfit by the end of today.
Barry has been out of management since turning down a new deal with Aldershot at the end of last season because he wanted to return to Scotland.
He was in charge at Dens Park for more than two years from 2010 when he saved The Dee from relegation from the old First Division despite a 25-point penalty for going into administration.
He has also been in charge at Alloa, who he led to the final of the Challenge Cup and also kept in the Championship.
