French defender Gomis set to sign for Dundee

French defender Kevin Gomis is expected to be a Dundee player by tomorrow morning.

As the Tele reported today, the former Nice centre half has been on trial with the Dark Blues this week.

And it’s understood Gomis, who was at Dens Park for tonight’s clash with Hamilton Accies, has now agreed to a one year contract.

Adding a player with experience of the top flight in Portugal as well as France will come as a relief to boss Paul Hartley.

Only yesterday he admitted strengthening his rearguard was his top priority between now and the transfer window closing at the end of the month.
