Greg Stewart is vital to Dundee’s chances By George Cran October 15 2015, 5:00am October 15 2015, 5:00am Share Greg Stewart is vital to Dundee’s chances Share via Facebook Twitter Linkedin Whatsapp Messenger Email Post link https://www.thecourier.co.uk/fp/sport/football/dundee-fc/2620393/greg-stewart-is-vital-to-dundees-chances/ Copy Link Greg Stewart’s return from injury is a massive bonus for Dundee going into Saturday’s match at Hamilton Accies. His influence on the team is irreplaceable. Players like James McPake and Kevin Thomson are big parts of the side but, with their injury issues, Dundee are used to having to cope without them. Without Stewart, though, they lose guile and something just a little bit different — beating a man or a snapshot. And his link-up with strikers Rory Loy and Kane Hemmings is one of the best front lines in the division. Add to that the raw pace of Riccardo Calder and the Dark Blues are a dangerous side. It’s a tricky game to call with Accies a point better off in the table but if Dundee click then I can’t see the home defence coping. At the other end, though, Hamilton’s Ali Crawford is a cracking little player and will need careful watching. Plus, it’s just written that former Dee favourite Christian Nade will pop up to haunt his old club. This article originally appeared on the Evening Telegraph website.
