Dundee are understood to have had another bid for St Mirren’s Stevie Mallan rejected.
The Dark Blues tried to lure the Buddies midfielder to Dens back in April but his boss Alex Rae described the offer at the time as: “A bit derogatory and it would take a lot more money than that.”
Dundee have made another move for the 20-year-old but once again, the bid has not matched St Mirren’s valuation of the player.
It remains to be seen whether the Dark Blues, who have recently brought in transfer fees for top striker Kane Hemmings and the talismanic Greg Stewart, will make another attempt to prise Mallan from Paisley.
