Dundeeās on-loan Celtic winger Michael Duffy has been called up by Northern Ireland for the game against the Czech Republic on Sunday, September 4.
The 22-year-old has represented his country at various age-group levels but will now link up with the senior squad for the first time for the World Cup qualifier which will take place at the Generali Arena in Prague.
National boss Michael OāNeill admitted Duffy had earned his elevation following his performances for the Dark Blues.
He said: “Michael is rewarded for his work with Dundee and he has played consistently for the Under-21s ā he’s always made himself available for the Under-21 side.”
St Johnstoneās Alan Mannus has also been selected by OāNeill for the Czech game.
