Dundee have received a double boost with the news that Craig Wighton and James Vincent have been passed fit to return to training this week.
The former has missed the last two games against Hamilton and Motherwell after picking up a knee injury while the latter sat out the weekend visit to Fir Park with a similar problem.
The club decided to send them for precautionary scans and the results have come back showing that neither has suffered any serious damage.
They duo have now been given the green light to resume training however, another player is still requiring treatment.
Dutch striker Yordi Teijsse was absent from the squad for the game against the Steelmen after suffering a groin injury.
However, with an international break this weekend, he should be fit to return for Dundee’s next match on September 10 against Kilmarnock at Dens.
