Dundee boss Paul Hartley’s pursuit of Tom Hateley has finally paid off with the player signing a two-year deal with the club today. The 26-year-old former Motherwell star has been on the look-out for a new club since leaving Polish outfit Slask Wroclaw earlier this summer. A whole host of sides both here and in England were keen to capture Hateley but the Dens manager’s perseverance has paid off. He had a medical at the club before signing his contract and he will link up with his new team-mates at training tomorrow. Hateley, who started his career at Reading, can play at right-back or in midfield.
