Dundee boss Paul Hartley is sweating over the results of a scan on Darren O’Dea’s foot.
The Dark Blues skipper missed Saturday’s defeat at Hearts with a recurrence of the injury that has dogged him since the game against Kilmarnock last month.
The 29-year-old had taken painkilling injections to allow him to play in subsequent games and the problem appeared to have healed over the international break.
However, it has flared up once more with Hartley saying: “Darren hurt his foot again in training and he was sent for a scan on Saturday.
“He is an important player for us and hopefully the results will show there is nothing serious but it is still a concern for us at the moment.”
