Jack Ross is NOT poised for the vacant Dundee manager’s job, Courier Sport can reveal.
The appeal for the Dark Blues of appointing the former Hibs, Sunderland and St Mirren boss is clear.
Not only is he out of work, with a strong CV to his name, Ross was previously identified by John Nelms to take over at Dens Park in the summer of 2017 before Neil McCann took the post permanently.
However, it is understood he wouldn’t be interested in replacing James McPake at the moment.
Derek Adams
One man who WOULD be keen to talk to Nelms is Derek Adams.
Adams hasn’t been approached, though, and there is a chance the appointment will only be a short-term one through to the end of the season, bringing the likes of Gordon Strachan and Neil Lennon into the picture.
